Peanut Butter and Honey Granola Bars

I am super excited for todays post and for you to read it! I've been really into cooking/baking this past month or more and so I decided to do a little meal DIY for you. Today we will be making a Peanut Butter and Honey Granola Bars, this is the perfect snack for you to consume during summer since it is high in protein and gives you tons of energy, and produce your body the healthy kind of fat for your bones instead of the ones that enlarge your body.

✿What You'll Need

-1/4 cup of honey
- 1/4 cup of creamy salted peanut butter
-1 Cup of almonds
-1 1/2 cup of rolled oats
-1/2 cup of brown sugar
- Optional: Choco chips, Dried Cranberries, Vanilla Extract

Mix 1 1/2 of oats and 1 cup of almonds into a bowl.

Scope in 1/4 cup of honey, 1/4 cup of creamy salted peanut butter and 1/2 cup table spoon of brown sugar into a cooking pan.

Cook your mixture (Peanut butter, honey, brown sugar) in the lowest heat setting possible, keep stirring the mixture while the mixture is in the process of melting. Half way through this process you could add in 1 table spoon of vanilla extract for a tasty smell. You will know the mixture is done when it starts to bubble and completely smooth. This will act as the glue to hold the granola bars together.

When the mixture is evenly mixed, quickly mix your mixture in the same pan with the 1 1/2 cup of oats and 1 cup of almonds. Then mix it evenly.

As soon as the mixture is evenly mixed, transfer it to an 8 x 8 pan lined with parchment paper, and flatted the surface.

This step is optional, but if you prefer your bar to be a bit more sweet than spread out hints of chocolate chips on top before covering the top with parchment paper again.

Leave it in the fridge for at least 30 to harden before serving.

Remove the bar form the pan then chopped into even pieces, and thats it! enjoy your healthy and easy snack:)
