Insomnia's Guide to Falling Asleep

Sleeping is a culture one may perceive differently. Usually, it's tough love both ways - waking up and falling asleep. With school and the insane amount of workload, sleep is very limited, which is why it's wise to shut down your system immediately after finishing up essentials of the day. However, if you're anything like me, my train of thoughts grew longer and broader at night preventing me from sleeping. Hence, I did a little research of the things that really did help me sleep asap.

Ongoing Trends 2017: Embroidery

Embroideries are on going recycled staples from the 19th century. It is an involuntary act to recycled past tends, hence embroideries. Although, recycled trends have a lifetime of 2 seasons. Embroidery however, seem to be around for more than 4. To celebrate its long life, StyleWe and I constructed a post to showcase how embroidery has modernized.

Travel Diary: London, ...

As an attempt to cope with the post-vacation depression, a phase in which I think would never fade. It's almost a tradition to document my travels on my blog for the sole reason of immortalising the memories. I was blessed and privileged to be able to visit the beautiful cities in the UK and I wanted to share them with you, this post is by no means trying to offend nor brag. This is initially the 'scroll through' type of post as I'll be sharing pictures in random orders of my trip. Hope you'll enjoy!

27 Dresses ft 27Dress

As of right now prom dresses are all my Pinterest home would show me, frankly it doesn't bother me looking at pretty dresses. The amount of time I spend scrolling through Pinterest is beyond comprehend, my hourly consumption of Pinterest scrolling lead me to find wholesale sites that I wish I stumbled upon if I were to go to prom. I realize that even if I weren't attending prom this year, some of you would so why not share.

Skin Care 2017

I’ve been receiving a lot of request in my inbox for a skin care routine, it is initially the "essential" post to publish for every blogger but I've always avoid writing it for the soul reason that I don't have the perfect skin nor have a proper and constant routine to pamper my skin. Hence, giving advice on how to would not be the priority goal, this post simply share the day to day routine and the products I use. With that out of the way here is my skin care routine.

How to: Know when to take a blog break

Writing is a hobby, destined to come with passion and instinct. Which is why it is art, and art could not be forced. I’ve blogged for almost three years, and for many three is not many. Three is my favourite number, for that I vow my third year blogging would be kickass. Last year I had an unofficial break from blogging, because it’s unofficial I don’t know when to stop nor start. It is then where I learn the signs to take an official break. Defined as a punctual period of time in which blogging does not subsist. These are the signs I learn over the course of three years, when to take a blog break.

Patches. ft. StyleWe

patches are incredibly overrated especially throughout september but as the hype tone down I think it is appropriate to bring back the novelty. known for their flexibility to embellish and personalise anything it is no surprise that great things come in small packages, hence these are four winter appropriate pieces embellished with yours truly, the patches.

Things To Do Before 2017!

A week before 2017, hence why the seven bullet list. I want this as mush as you do, I want to end 2016 strong so I gathered 7 simple but life changing lit of things to do before starting a new chapter. All seven ideas has it’s own motives and reason as of why.

December Must Have Dresses

As much as I want to title the post Winter instead of December Indonesia is still sane with two alternating seasons, hence the awkward headline. Dresses are no brainers, a complete outfit in 20 seconds, a reason why dresses in general are an essential. I tried to have options that could work for both the warm and chilly weather this christmas. I mean a few layers of thermal and stockings could make these dresses weather appropriate depending on where you are.

The Art of Body Positivity: Sundry

Beauty comes with age, therefore it is undefined. For as long as I could remember that is what I live by. A book that promotes body positivity through the power of apparel by creating 8 different apparels that represent the four major body shapes; hourglass, apple, pear and ruler that would be showcase on the book as well. Motives are simple but complex and thats to prove that beauty is not one size and ideal should not be a word used to describe beauty.

Styling a Beret

Berets are slowly making headlines again in the industry, not as big as belled trim or as overrated as chokers but with time and especially with the weather shifting they are both an accessory and something to keep your head warm. Although, I might mention this way too much but I live in Indonesia aka in the centre of the equator aka the weather is almost sunny all year long so to say that beret keeps the head warm and toasty does not earn them any brownie points.

DIY Tassel Earrings

Pom-pom earrings have been everywhere lately but personally I could only picture the poms hanging from anything but my ears. So instead of testing the waters I go search for a similar alternative. Tassels, like pompoms are made from the same threading yarn the only difference is that tassels are a lot more low-key and is more wearable. Tassel earrings range from $15 up to $250 but why spend money when you can easily diy them.

Essential Accessories ft. Zaful

Your wardrobe can easily be elevated by adding in a few accessory. Adding in a few does not mean two or three, in most scenarios all you have to do is add just one. I am a fan of metallic chokers as they elongate the neck and is a subtle accessory.

Bucket List: Summer 2016

To avoid myself from absolutely nothing this entire summer I’ve made up a bucket list to hopefully complete before school starts. Most of the activities I’ve list are a lot of things I’ve been holding back on doing like wearing a purple lipstick on public or bake, and others I found on pinterest. Not the typical post you found on my blog but I hope you’ll enjoy it and maybe peak an interest, nonetheless here’s the list.

Top 5 Tops: Summer 2016 #Wishlist

I view uniforms as a blessing in disguise, I mean the amount of time it saved getting ready and how brains are un-required in the mornings how can they possibly be anything but a blessing. By no means am I trying to say that my school uniform is faltering but if it means I get to sleep in a little longer and not think about constructing a decent outfit in the morning than I’m on board.

White Tops

If theres anything we have in common is a stack of white tops in out closets, there is something about white that defines a classic and clean overall. It is a universal colour that can be easily transform accordingly. Considering Indonesia is right in the equator aka 12 months of summer the outfit ideas involving white tops are all very appropriate for the hot weather.

Summer Bottoms 2016 ft. Stylewe.com

Yesterday marks the end of my freshmen year in equivalent to the official start of the summer break, where I live happy-hour starts 2 weeks latter than others but it’s fine, the last couple weeks of school was spent wondering the pins in math class deciding which summer goals to really follow. Now that school is officially out of the picture and uniforms are not an everyday requirement.

Korean Cosmetics Fist Impressions! Etude House, Tony Moly, Peripera

This post is long over due, last December I went to Korea with a few of my friends and one of them so happens to be very passionate about Korean beauty products hence the reason this post was created. I did write this post 3 months ago but forgot to post it on my blog but better late than never.

Top 5 Spring-Summer Quickies ft.WSDear + GIVEAWAY(closed)

Seeing that the weather has gotten warmer I would round up five of my favourite rompers and dresses for the Spring and Summer. Where I live the transition of seasons isn’t noticeable, Indonesia only have two type of seasons; wet and hot, but if Im being completely honest rainy days don’t come as frequently, it barely rains.

March Favourites 2016

For this post I thought I’ll bring back an oldie, I used to do a lot of favourites post back when I just started blogging and slowly I sort of stopped. So here I have a list of things I’ve been doting. Usually I’ll categorise the items but I don’t it would be necessary considering the amount of items I plan on sharing.
